Information and Suggestions for Current Students:

Read the following 3 steps to come prepare for classes:

First step: Login and use your CLC Portal and Email!

All the tools and resources necessary to succeed in your clasess are found in the college's main portal. Find out your CLC login ID and password soon and explore all your options! Ask CLC's Help Desk or call 847-543-4357, if you can't login or have any issues ... before your classes begin!

Second step: Stay connected with your class and instructor!

Many successful students have expressed that besides checking the syllabus, the key is to communicate with classmates and with instructors.

Third Step: Be on time. Attend all classes. Complete homework and assignments promptly!

Assigments and class activities are done in any of these platforms: Zoom, Canvas, Online Book (if any). In syncronized or asynchronized learning, other tools, such as the LANGUAGE LAB will be needed.

Are you having trouble with your homework or your cultural report? Don't have a computer to do your online assignments?

Why not considering these few tips...

1. Talk to your instructor during office hours (this information is also on the syllabus given to you the first day of class)
2. Contact CLC's Help Desk and/or Canvas 24/7 Student support
3. Visit the language remote access lab if you need assistance turning in oral exercises, listening activities, etc.
4. Attend the French Table for an informal conversation with a French native speaker. Ask your instructor.
5. Visit the library
6. Check out an HP Stream (notebook computer)
