Spanish Tutor Q&A's:

I need help with my Spanish class. Is there any Spanish tutor?

Yes. If you are currently registered in any of these Spanish courses SPA 121, 122, 221, 223, 223 and 224; you can study with a Spanish tutor at the Writing Center or via Zoom.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, through Canvas> Navigate to sign up for a session OR make an appointment with Sandra Aguilera by email (saguilera1@clcillinois.edu)

How do I access the Spanish tutor?

After scheduling an appointment, login to Canvas>Navigate. Find the Zoom link to enter the meeting. OR come in to the Writing Center, when the tutor is available

If I did not make an appointment, can I pop-in for a quick question?

Yes. Come in to the Writing Center OR login to Canvas>Navigate and if there is any opening you can join in by clicking on the Zoom link. If you can't see an available time, email Sandra Aguilera (saguilera1@clcillinois.edu) or visit the Writing Center.

Is there any Spanish tutor on campus?

The Writing Center will announce it if there is one. ======================================

Suggestions when schedule an appointment:

In your email, please include the following information:

1. Syllabus of your course
2. Rubric with topic of the conversation -chapter of the activity, too!
3. Tentative days/times when you are available (see schedule above)
4. Any other information that your instructor gave you and that can help you and the Spanish Tutor with this activity
